Villa Minimal
An aesthetic focused on understated elegance and functionality, aimed at enhancing the purity of the lines, the balance of materials, and the exaltation of natural light.
We oversaw the design and creation of custom furnishings for a modern villa, drawing inspiration from an aesthetic of understated and functional elegance. Every detail was carefully crafted to harmonize with the architecture of the home, with particular attention to the purity of the lines, the balance of materials, and the enhancement of natural light.
The entrance is framed by oak uprights with embedded LEDs and a cantilevered niche, subtly introducing the atmosphere of the home with a touch of theatricality. The wardrobe unit and bench, designed with geometric precision, interpret the concept of hospitality in a contemporary way.
The kitchen stands out for its essential language, dominated by white and gray, warmed by the presence of a large oak-top table. The contrast between glossy and tactile surfaces creates a sophisticated yet convivial environment. The light coming from the large window flows across the wall fully clad in solid surface and slips into the grooves on the sides of the island, creating a refined play of shadows. The grooves are precisely aligned with the wooden table, which serves as a connector between functionality and domestic warmth. The flush-mounted cooktop and integrated sink disappear visually into the countertop, contributing to a sense of cleanliness and continuity of the surfaces.
A large sliding glass door separates the kitchen from the living room, without disrupting the visual continuity. In the living room, marble takes center stage, extending from the floor to cover the TV unit, and reappearing on the coffee table and the top of the elliptical dining table, surrounded by designer chairs. The compositional simplicity is enhanced by the bookshelf unit, marked by a balanced rhythm of solids and voids. Suspended above the table, the large chandelier interacts with the balance of the decor, adding a touch of sophisticated detail that reflects the character of the owners.
The minimalist staircase connects the living area and the sleeping area, with asymmetrically cut marble steps and a handrail made of iron, embellished with LED lights that accentuate the architectural design.
The same clean and functional design language is evident in the sleeping area and the bathrooms. The vanity units with their essential lines, along with the dominance of white and gray, reinforce the idea of an elegant and relaxing space. The black sanitary fixtures reflect current trends with character, while the master bathroom sink represents a refined, personalized detail.
Every element, from the most structural to the most decorative, has been designed to create a bright, minimalistic environment, yet rich in functional and refined details, where material and light merge in perfect aesthetic harmony.
